OK LFUMC Prayer Shawl Ministry...
Let's put our $$ to good work and send some socks, hats, gloves to
SOCKS for Sandy...click it and read/see what they're going through up in New Jersey.

This is Laura's neighbor's house in West Creek, New Jersey...
Just drop off your donations by Thursday afternoon in the Prayer Shawl Ministry closet and we'll be sure to get them mailed to New Jersey.

Also, continue praying for their safety, health, and protection until they have somewhere to live and/or return to 'normal'.

BLOCKING

Some INFO from the CRAFTSY site:
If you've never BLOCKED any of your work, this really does help your pieces look better.
Their blocking process goes like this:
1) Fill up the sink with lukewarm water and a squirt of Soak Wash.
2) Immerse the shawl and gently squish the water through.
3) Spin out the extra water in the dryer.
4) Pin the shawl out on top of a rug.
6) Want to wear it the next day, so dry it with the hair dryer.
